Gluten-Free Battered Fish and Chips in Par, Cornwall: A Culinary Treasure beyond Par!

It’s always a win when you find a place that serves gluten-free battered fish🐟 and chips🍟 . But discovering that all their batter is gluten-free? That’s a Coeliac’s dream come true!

I thought I’d do a quick review of Par Garden Kitchen in Saint Austell, Cornwall, where we decided to have lunch based on some good buzz about their food. If you ever find yourself in St Austell, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s well worth it!

When I was ordering, the chef revealed that all their batter is gluten-free. As a Coeliac, I couldn’t help but break into a huge smile😊 ; I probably looked like a kid unwrapping a Christmas present. Pure joy! 😂

Some of the earlier images on this site are AI-generated because, let’s be honest, I had neither the time nor the skills to snap Pinterest-worthy photos while juggling another job. But hey, practice makes progress! These days, I’m feeling much braver behind the camera. Happy reading (and judging my photos), everyone!
