The Lounges – Pinto Lounge Banbury

I would be very surprised if anyone reading this has not dined at one of the 220 plus Lounges restaurants that scatter the UK. These are not only down your local high street but are pretty much a standard fixture in almost every mid-sized town or bigger. I’ve been to about 6 or 7 of these restaurants across the country and they never disappoint. Their quirky interior designs are unique and have a character of their own, giving you a dining experience that is always a pleasure.

I’ve been to the Pinto Lounge before in Banbury, but as I don’t live there anymore, I haven’t been since it moved next to the canal near the Castle Quay Shopping Centre. It’s a lovely location in a new complex built next to Spiceball Park.

Visiting this place in their new location was an absolute delight! The food, as always in any Lounge Restaurant, is simply brilliant. What sets these restaurants apart is their impressive gluten-free menu, offering a delightful array of dishes that cater to everyone’s taste. It’s a dining experience that ensures no one is left out.

Some of the earlier images on this site are AI-generated because, let’s be honest, I had neither the time nor the skills to snap Pinterest-worthy photos while juggling another job. But hey, practice makes progress! These days, I’m feeling much braver behind the camera. Happy reading (and judging my photos), everyone!
