I tend to lose myself in cooking—especially when it comes to experimenting with gluten-free recipes. What starts as a quick meal idea somehow turns into a full-blown project, complete with questionable ingredient choices and the occasional smoke alarm. There’s something oddly satisfying about perfecting a gluten-free pizza base or nailing a pasta sauce, even if it takes a few (or many) failed attempts to get there.
I also get completely absorbed in writing. Whether it’s working on a blog post about gluten-free life or just jotting down random thoughts, once I start, time seems to disappear. And then there’s gaming. Give me an Xbox controller and a good RPG, and suddenly it’s three hours later and I’m wondering why I’m hungry (spoiler: because I forgot to eat).
So yeah, between food, writing, and gaming, it’s a wonder I ever get anything productive done.
