Gluten-Free Sticky Sesame Glazed Paneer

Sticky sesame paneer served on a white plate, with golden cubes coated in a rich soy-honey glaze and black sesame seeds.

Proof that gluten-free doesn’t have to try too hard.

If you’re in the mood for something quick, satisfying, and packed with flavour, this Sticky Sesame Paneer might just be your new go-to. It’s pan-fried to golden perfection, then coated in a sweet, savoury, and ever-so-slightly spicy glaze that clings to every bite. Whether you’re gluten-free (like me) or just looking to mix up your midweek meals, this one’s a winner. It’s simple, fuss-free, and ready in under 20 minutes—because who has time for complicated when you’re hungry?

Golden, sticky, and packed with flavour—this sesame-glazed paneer is naturally gluten-free and seriously addictive.

Method

  1. Make the sauce: In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and sesame seeds. Stir well to combine.
  2. Cook the paneer: Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the paneer cubes and fry until golden on all sides—this takes about 4–5 minutes.
  3. Add the sauce: Pour the sauce mixture into the pan. Stir to coat the paneer evenly and reduce the heat to medium.
  4. Simmer and reduce: Let the sauce bubble gently, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and coats the paneer in a sticky glaze (about 3–5 minutes).
  5. Serve: Sprinkle with extra sesame seeds and serve hot—great with rice, quinoa, or even inside lettuce cups.

Some of the earlier images on this site are AI-generated because, let’s be honest, I had neither the time nor the skills to snap Pinterest-worthy photos while juggling another job. But hey, practice makes progress! These days, I’m feeling much braver behind the camera. Happy reading (and judging my photos), everyone!
