Describe one positive change you have made in your life.
One positive change I’ve made in my life was going gluten free after being diagnosed with coeliac disease (also known as celiac disease in the US). At first, it felt overwhelming—suddenly I had to rethink everything I ate. But that one shift completely transformed my life for the better.
Before my diagnosis, I was constantly tired, bloated, and unwell without really understanding why. Cutting out gluten gave me back my energy, cleared the brain fog, and finally brought some consistency to how I felt day to day. It was like getting my life back.
Going gluten free didn’t just improve my physical health—it also changed my relationship with food. I became more mindful about what I eat, more experimental in the kitchen, and more connected to a global community of people living with coeliac/celiac disease.
It hasn’t always been easy (especially eating out!), but this change has been one of the most positive and empowering things I’ve done for my health and happiness.
