What do you enjoy most about writing?
If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be confidently writing about gluten-free pasta, coeliac struggles, and dodgy restaurant menus, I probably would’ve laughed (nervously, from behind my laptop).
But here I am. Writing has become more than just a hobby it’s a form of therapy, a megaphone, and occasionally, a way to vent about a gluten-free cake I’ve had that tasted like a damp sponge.
The thing I enjoy most about writing? Freedom.
The freedom to share my own story. The freedom to take something frustrating like living with coeliac disease and turn it into something useful, funny, and maybe even comforting for someone else out there scrolling through blog posts at midnight.
I never had much confidence in myself growing up, but since starting this blog, something’s changed. Each post chips away at that self-doubt. Writing has helped me find my voice and realise that my voice actually matters.
So, whether it’s a heartfelt story, a rant about rice crackers, or a ✨ 3-step recipe with emojis, writing lets me be fully, unapologetically me. Gluten-free and all.
