Now, as any Coeliac will tell you, finding a good gluten-free flatbread🫓 or naan can be a bit of a wild goose chase. It’s not that the options aren’t out there; they just don’t jump out and shout, ‘Here I am!’ But fear not, because Juvela is stepping up with two new flatbreads: The Indian and The Italian. What makes these different from the rest is that these flatbreads are flavored. Today, I’m going to give you my thoughts on the Indian one, as I’m sure it will pair perfectly with the Chicken Tikka Masala🥘I’m having tonight.
Opening the packet, the aroma of spices hit us instantly—a promising start! Just 5 minutes in the oven⏲️, and it was ready to join our meal.

The bread🫓 itself was soft and firm enough to hold up to the curry, yet tender enough to tear easily. Using it to dip in the curry I gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised. It had a delicate flavour which complimented the curry really well.
I had to share the flatbreads with my wife, who isn’t gluten-free but enjoyed them just as much as I did. She mentioned she’d never tried a flavored flatbread before, and it was a delightful addition to our curry.

As we all know, gluten-free food often comes with a higher price💰 tag than its gluten-filled counterparts. However, these flatbreads are priced similarly to other gluten-free options, so they won’t break the bank🏦.
