So, I saw a reel on Facebook the other day showing that you can get gluten-free burgers🍔 from McDonald’s in Italy. Naturally, this piqued my interest as I haven’t had a McDonald’s burger in over 8 years, and boy, do I miss them! My wife then suggested I write a post about McDonald’s lack of gluten-free burgers in the UK. So, I dove into some investigation and, to my dismay, found out that several European countries are enjoying what we’re missing out on.
- Spain 🇪🇸
- Netherlands 🇳🇱
- Italy 🇮🇹
- Austria 🇦🇹
- Portugal 🇵🇹
- Denmark 🇩🇰
- Sweden 🇸🇪
- Switzerland 🇨🇭
- Finland 🇫🇮
- Hungary 🇭🇺
- Norway 🇳🇴
What I can’t wrap my head around is why McDonald’s doesn’t sell them in the UK. I’m sure this topic has come up more than a few times, which makes it even more baffling why we’re left out of the gluten-free burger🍔 club.
Of course, the list of countries above might be a bit outdated, but I’m crossing my fingers that the future will bring us some good news. Here’s hoping that one day soon, we’ll be able to enjoy gluten-free burgers in the UK too!
Okay, rant over!
