Your Coeliac Resource: In the UK and Beyond

Being gluten-free has completely transformed how I approach food, from how I cook to what I eat when dining out. For years, I was misdiagnosed, struggling with health issues that seemed to have no clear cause. Now, with a proper diagnosis, I understand the importance of managing my condition. Cooking at home has become a…

Fudge is one of those quintessential seaside treats you just can’t resist on holiday. The incredible variety of flavors always feels like a treasure trove, and finding gluten-free options? As my final post about the amazing stalls at the Gluten-Free Festival last weekend, what better way to wrap things up than with a sweet celebration…

Post number 4 from the Gluten Free Festival at the weekend is all about pies 🥧—not just any pies, but the amazing gluten-free pies from Voakes Free From. I’ll admit, I’ve been a little greedy and bought three, enjoying one each day this week. They’re absolutely delicious, with melt-in-the-mouth pastry—a treat I haven’t had in…

My third post from the Gluten-Free Festival is all about the brownies from Bakeworks Co. From the moment I saw them, I couldn’t get over how gorgeous they looked, and of course, the whole family dove in. You’d think I’d be sugared out by now (and honestly, I’m pretty close), but I’m determined to try…
Hello,

Having been diagnosed with Coeliac Disease over 8 years ago but also suffering from symptoms for about 30 years, I decided to take action. A few years back, I launched a Facebook group to help fellow gluten-free diners in Milton Keynes find the best places to eat. The group quickly became a little sensation. Encouraged by this success, I created another group for the Northampton area a couple of years later. Both groups have become a useful resource for people searching for gluten-free dining options in their respective areas.
Recently, I took a bold step to expand even further and launched The GF Table UK. My mission? To share my journey, experiences, and insights on living a gluten-free lifestyle and to help others navigate their own paths with ease. Here’s to many more gluten-free adventures ahead!

Some of the earlier images on this site are AI-generated because, let’s be honest, I had neither the time nor the skills to snap Pinterest-worthy photos while juggling another job. But hey, practice makes progress! These days, I’m feeling much braver behind the camera. Happy reading (and judging my photos), everyone!
