Why My Phone, Air Fryer, and Coffee Machine Matter
Daily writing prompt
What are three objects you couldn’t live without?

We all have those essential things we rely on every day—objects that, if lost, would leave us feeling slightly (or completely) useless. For me, there are three things I simply couldn’t function without: my phone, my glasses, and… my trusty coffee machine.

Let’s break it down.

My Phone 📱

This one’s obvious. My phone is my lifeline. It keeps me connected, helps me run The GF Table, and lets me scroll through endless food photos, convincing myself that gluten-free baking isn’t out to get me. Plus, how else am I supposed to Google whether that new ‘gluten-free’ snack is actually safe or just pretending?

My Air Fryer 🍟

The greatest kitchen invention since… well, ever. My air fryer has saved me from many a sad, soggy meal. It makes crispy gluten-free chips, revives leftovers like a time-traveling food wizard, and requires zero effort. Honestly, if it ever broke, I’d have to go into mourning.

My Coffee Machine ☕

Look, I know tea is the classic British answer, but I need coffee. My coffee machine is what turns me from a barely functioning human into someone who can form complete sentences. Mornings without it would be bleak, and my ability to write witty gluten-free content? Nonexistent.

Some of the earlier images on this site are AI-generated because, let’s be honest, I had neither the time nor the skills to snap Pinterest-worthy photos while juggling another job. But hey, practice makes progress! These days, I’m feeling much braver behind the camera. Happy reading (and judging my photos), everyone!
