My Gluten Free Christmas

A platter of gluten free Christmas dinner featuring roast chicken, poussin, pigs in blankets, homemade stuffing, and sausage meat, served on a dining table with vegetables in the background.

This Christmas felt different in a good way.

No turkey. No Yorkshire puddings. A calmer kitchen and a table that felt just right.

I’ve shared a personal reflection over on Substack about our gluten free Christmas. What we cooked, what we skipped, and what surprised me about gluten free food in UK supermarkets this year.

It’s not a guide or a list. Just an honest reflection on food, family, and letting go of a few traditions.

Some of the earlier images on this site are AI-generated because, let’s be honest, I had neither the time nor the skills to snap Pinterest-worthy photos while juggling another job. But hey, practice makes progress! These days, I’m feeling much braver behind the camera. Happy reading (and judging my photos), everyone!
