Gluten Free Festival London: Speaking at Free From Festival 2026 with Men Vs Gluten

Thats me, speaking at the Northamptonshire Gluten Free Festival 2025. Now looking forward to this years events like the Free From Festival 2026 in London and again the Northamptonshire Gluten Free Festival 2026.;

This year, I will be proudly representing Men Vs Gluten at the highly anticipated Free From Festival 2026 in London, an event that celebrates dietary diversity and the delicious possibilities of gluten-free living.

The GF Table started as a way to share experiences, work things out, and make sense of life with coeliac disease. It has over the last couple of year expanded, The GF Table can be found on Facebook, Instagram, Substack and other platforms so to make sure everyone doesn’t miss out (click below for my other platforms 👇).

Last year I met Sonny at the Northamptonshire Free From Festival and we started to talk about how men in general don’t really like to talk about their problems which actually also means they don’t like to talk about being diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. That’s when we decided to launch a new platform called Men Vs Gluten. A place to support men because lets be honest we are sometimes a little useless at talking about things.

I have already had the chance to speak at events like the Northamptonshire Gluten Free Festival at Chester House (Men Vs Gluten will be there this year, more info to follow), which was a brilliant experience, and now I have been given the opportunity to do it again as part of something slightly different.

This time, Sonny and I will be speaking at the Free From Festival 2026 in London as part of the Men Vs Gluten panel, where we will dive deep into the challenges and triumphs faced by men navigating a gluten free lifestyle. We are hoping that you will join us and see what we are all about.

Event Details

The panel will take place at Free From Festival 2026 on:

Sunday 24 May 2026
11:25am

This gluten free festival UK event brings together brands, food, and the wider community in one place, and it is a great opportunity to connect with people who actually understand what gluten free living looks like day to day.

Our panel will focus on conversations around coeliac disease in men. It is something that is not always talked about openly, and something we are trying to change.

We will be talking about our experiences and talking to others about theirs, the challenges that come with gluten free living and why men in particular can struggle to talk about it. There will be a mix of humour, honesty, and the kind of conversations that feel very familiar once you start talking about them properly.

About Me

I am Ben Haggerty, the person behind The GF Table.

I was diagnosed with coeliac disease after years of symptoms and misdiagnosis, which is something I know a lot of people can relate to. What started as a way to make sense of that experience has turned into a platform focused on sharing practical advice, honest reviews, and real life experiences around gluten free living.

The aim has always been simple. Make gluten free foods easier to navigate, share what actually works, and be honest about the parts that are not always straightforward.

Everything I write and talk about comes from lived experience, and that is exactly what I will be bringing to the panel, alongside a bit of humour and the kind of honesty that only comes from living it day to day.

Take a look at my blog below to see what I’m all about.

What Is Men Vs Gluten?

Men Vs Gluten started from a simple idea.

There is still a gap when it comes to how coeliac disease is talked about, especially among men. A lot of it goes unspoken, brushed aside, or hidden behind “it is not that bad”.

Men Vs Gluten is something Sonny and I started to open up more honest conversations around coeliac disease in men, and to make those conversations more visible and relatable.

It is about raising awareness, creating a space where people can actually talk about their experiences, and making coeliac disease more visible in places where it is often overlooked.

If You’re Going, Come And Say Hello

If you are planning to attend the Free From Festival 2026 in London, it would be great to see some familiar faces and meet people in person.

Whether this is your first gluten free festival UK event or one of many, come along to the panel, have a listen and feel free to come and say hello afterwards. Always up for a chat, especially when it comes to gluten free foods, shared experiences, or just comparing notes on what is actually worth eating on the day.

Are you planning to attend?

Some of the earlier images on this site are AI-generated because, let’s be honest, I had neither the time nor the skills to snap Pinterest-worthy photos while juggling another job. But hey, practice makes progress! These days, I’m feeling much braver behind the camera. Happy reading (and judging my photos), everyone!
