Honest gluten free food, recipes, guides and the occasional rant about gluten.

So, something weird has happened.

In the last 24 hours, my blog has gained over 50 new followers — all Gmail addresses, all from France, and all in a suspiciously short window of time.

Now, unless I’ve somehow become an overnight sensation in Paris (which, let’s be honest, I haven’t), this is probably what the experts call “a bot wave.”

First off — to all my real, human followers: thank you. You’re the reason I write this blog. I know who you are. (Mostly. Probably.) And I appreciate every read, comment, share, and kind word more than you know.

Second — to any bots reading this: please enjoy my gluten-free rants, and kindly refrain from stealing my identity or promoting dodgy crypto links in my comments.

Third — for anyone wondering if my blog has been hacked: nope. Everything’s fine. This is just a weird little blip that I’m reporting to WordPress.

So if you’re new here and you’re actually a human — welcome aboard! And if you’re a bot, well… bonjour, I guess?

More gluten-free goodness (and nonsense) coming soon.

— Ben

Update: WordPress has confirmed that there’s no risk to my blog. So we’re calling this “The French Bot Invasion of 2025” and moving on with our lives. 🥖🤖

There’s more where that came from, gluten free recipes 🍝, coeliac rants, symptom spirals 🤢 and food fails that should probably be reported to someone 🚨.

    Me too! Happens often. Annoying.

  2. You’re not alone, cuz someone else also got that too.

A bearded man with slicked-back dark hair and a maroon polo shirt smiling warmly while holding a grey mug of coffee towards the camera.

Some of the earlier images on this site are AI-generated because, let’s be honest, I had neither the time nor the skills to snap Pinterest-worthy photos while juggling another job. But hey, practice makes progress! These days, I’m feeling much braver behind the camera. Happy reading (and judging my photos), everyone!
